Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: 1 September 2026
Elvz is operated by Elvz AI Private Limited, registered in India. You can delete your account and everything associated with it at any time, free of charge. These instructions cover every social platform and integration you may have connected — Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, and all of the knowledge and data integrations listed in our Privacy Policy.
Option 1 — Disconnect a single platform or integration
Use this if you want to keep your Elvz account but remove one connection.
- Sign in to Elvz and open your workspace.
- For a social account, go to Platforms. For a knowledge or data source, go to Brain → Connections.
- Find the connection and choose Disconnect.
- Confirm. The disconnect is immediate.
Disconnecting always revokes and deletes the stored access token and stops the connection receiving new events. Automations configured for that connection stop running.
What happens to data already imported
- Social platforms — the access token is erased immediately and no new data is collected. Posts, profile details, and metrics already synced to your workspace are retained so that reconnecting the account does not destroy your history and past performance reporting. You can remove them at any time by deleting the workspace, or use Option 2 to remove everything at once.
- Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Intercom, Zendesk, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Brevo — everything derived is deleted immediately. These sources carry personal data about people who never signed up for Elvz, so nothing is kept.
- Every other integration — cloud storage, docs and notes, e-commerce, analytics, SEO, advertising, design, community, CMS, and project management — imported documents and business data are retained in the workspace so that reconnecting a provider does not silently destroy an imported corpus. You can delete this material at any time from the workspace, or use Option 2 to remove everything at once.
Option 2 — Delete your entire Elvz account
This permanently removes your account and all associated data across every workspace and every connection.
- Sign in to Elvz.
- Open your Profile.
- Under Danger zone, choose Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then choose Delete account permanently.
This permanently deletes your account, every workspace, connected account, post, automation, and uploaded file. It cannot be undone. Deletion starts immediately, you are signed out, and it completes within 30 days.
Option 3 — If you have lost access to your account
If you can no longer sign in and so cannot use Option 2, write to contact@elvz.ai with the subject line Data deletion request and tell us which account you mean.
We will ask you for enough information to establish ownership before we delete anything — this protects you from someone else deleting your account. We confirm receipt within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days. There is never a fee.

What happens when you revoke at the provider
Instagram, Facebook, and Threads. Meta notifies us directly. Removing the Elvz app from your Facebook or Instagram settings automatically disconnects the account here, and sending a data deletion request through Meta starts a real deletion of everything we derived from Meta — you receive a confirmation code and a status page where you can check progress. You do not need to contact us separately.
Every other provider. Once a grant is withdrawn, our stored token stops working and we stop collecting from that account. To also remove data we have already imported, disconnect in Elvz as described in Option 1, or delete your account using Option 2.

What we keep, and why
We retain a limited set of records where the law requires it. These are kept separately, are not used to identify or contact you, and serve no product purpose:
- Invoices and payment records, as required by Indian tax and accounting law.
- Security and abuse logs, for a limited period, to protect the service.
- Aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics that cannot be traced back to you.
Content already published to your own accounts stays there. Posts, videos, and Pins that Elvz published on your behalf belong to your Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, or Google Business Profile account. Deleting your Elvz account does not remove them — delete them on the platform itself.
Deleting data about other people
If Elvz processed a comment, reply, or message you sent to a business that uses our product, that business controls the data, not us. Contact the business directly, or write to contact@elvz.ai and we will route your request to them and assist in fulfilling it.
The same applies if you appear in a calendar, support desk, CRM, mailing list, or Slack workspace that one of our customers connected to Elvz — as a meeting attendee, a support requester, a CRM contact, a subscriber, or a colleague. The customer is the controller. We will act on their instruction and can confirm to you what we hold. In every one of those cases, the customer disconnecting the integration deletes our copy immediately.
